Keep the women and children in Robertson safe
We, the undersigned members of the community, hereby formally request that the suspect, Rhonwen Davids, in the sexual assault case CAS184/4/2026, remain in custody and not be granted bail.
This request is based on the serious concern for public safety, as the suspect has previously been accused in a similar case opened in 2021, where he was granted bail.
This decision allowed him the opportunity to allegedly commit another offense, resulting in another victim.
We believe that he poses a significant danger to society, particularly to women and, most importantly, to children.
The fact that he has remained free for the past five years without justice being served in the initial case raises grave concerns about the protection of vulnerable individuals.
We urge the justice system to take these factors into account and ensure that no further harm can occur by keeping the suspect in custody while legal proceedings continue.
