STOP New Quotas for Export of Trophy Hunting
Today, I received a distressing email from world renowned wildlife charity, Born Free, informing me that South African Minister of Environment, Willie Aucamp has tabled plans to set new export quotas for hunting trophies of:
150 elephants (300 tusks), 12 Black Rhinos and 11 Leopards.
The period for public comments end on 6th March. Therefore I would be grateful if you could urge the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment to abandon these quite simply, horrific plans at:
[email protected]
I would also be grateful if you could encourage other conservation lovers to do the same and sign this petition.
You can see the full report in the link from Born Free below, which also provides details of information you can use in your email to send to the Department, if you need.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Emma Logan

It’s completely barbaric that this endangered wildlife is being put at yet further risk.
